christmas 2010

Wow, this has been a whirlwind week, or month for that matter! I can't believe Christmas is already over. We had our 2nd annual Christmas Eve outreach at the Performing Arts Center again, only we did two performances this year. A great deal of time was spent planning and preparing for it, and the Lord truly blessed. On Christmas day, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and relaxed. Mackenzie also happened to get her stitches out that day as well. She took a spill on the tile floor last week and had 4 stitches in her chin. Never a dull moment... So here's some pics from our weekend:

The best part of Christmas day-the kids and Grandma put together a puppet show of the Christmas story (Brendan's idea). It was surprise for all of us and it was great!!

Nutcracker 2010

This was Mackenzie's second year being a part of the Nutcracker production. I didn't get any pictures of the performance, but here are a few backstage shots on dress rehearsal day. She was a snow crystal and a petit polichinelle this year. She did great and loves being a part of the whole thing. I must admit I am glad that it is done, only because that means no more weekly practices on top of regular ballet class!
