birthday party time

Today was the big birthday party at the Fountains. It was blazing hot, but the kids had a great time. Thanks to everyone who came and made it a special day.

it's gone!

The tooth fairy will be making her first stop at our house tonight. Not sure I'm ready for this...

one more exciting event-

We just discovered Brendan's first loose tooth. I guess this means he's growing up!

She is officially 5 today. We started out the morning with a special breakfast, met Grandma and Grandpa for lunch and presents and then went swimming in their pool. Just a kick-back day with the big party next week.

kylie is...

sitting up! She is 5 1/2 months old now and she's been sitting up by herself for about a week. So much fun to watch them change and develop. She'll be starting solid foods in the next couple of weeks. I'm sure it won't be long before she's crawling.

day one without daddy

This has pretty much been our day after we finished schooling this morning...



also known as "bad parenting." However, I had a horrible no caffeine/sleep headache all day and couldn't do much else. I think we've hit our video quota for the week. Don't worry, Daddy, we'll do better the rest of the time! (I hope)

fairy ballerina

Today was Mackenzie's debut on the stage! Her class did an excerpt from "Sleeping Beauty" and she was a pink fairy. I'm pretty sure she was the cutest girl up there :) She was absolutely adorable and we are so proud of her. Once daddy downloads the video, I'll try and post it. A big thank you to Auntie Debbie for the beautiful roses and to Grandma for all the hard work in preparing a lavish tea party for afterwards.

kylie's dedication day

We had Pastor Jim dedicate Kylie this past Sunday. Like every other baby, she wanted to play wth the microphone, and I believe she now has the distinction of being the first one to get the whole thing in her mouth.

brendan's 7th birthday

A little late, but better than never...We went to Andretti's Thrill Park for Brendan's Birthday with a few of his friends and spent the day playing on go-carts. The kids had a blast and the dads had an opportunity to play too :)

mackenzie's birthday present

Daddy leaves for Costa Rica next week and so he'll miss Mackenzie's birthday. So he planned a little early celebration and gave her a special present: a big girl bike, which she has wanted for a long time, complete with princesses of course.

Nana and Papa came to visit for a week, so we took a trip to the beach. Didn't get any beach pictures, but here are our two girls ready to go. This was Kylie's second beach experience and she got to play in her own little pool, which she loved! So fun...
