ballet performance

Well, I'm a couple of weeks late, but here is the dress rehearsal from Mackenzie's ballet performance. I apologize for the quality, but I took it on my still camera. The day of her performance was also her 6th birthday and her cousins arrived from Honduras. What a crazy day! So happy belated birthday to our ballerina princess!

get-away
Donathan and I got to go on a two day vacation while Nana Sherry watched the kiddos. Thank you, Sherry!!! This is the first time we've gotten away since Kylie was born. We stayed at a Bed and Breakfast in St. Augustine. The last time I was there was almost 15 years ago. (I'm sure Debbie remembers! And it was stinkin' hot then too!) We had such a good time. Donathan brought the scooter and surprisingly, we both fit on it. I'm sure we looked ridiculous, but it was a blast...until we got a flat tire. Oh well.
Lunch at one of the many eateries

We saw some guy catch a hammerhead on the pier

One of the cannons on Fort Castillo

St. Augustine beach

Our silly self shots

A very yummy dinner at some restaurant I can't remember the name of

Our sweet set of wheels :)

Trying to fix the flat tire, but not so successful

the big wedding
We got to celebrate with Whit and Kristin this past weekend-what a blessing and so much fun! Check out the video of Brendan tearing it up on the dance floor; we didn't know he had it in him!

honduras
Donathan, Brendan and Mackenzie left on Monday with a small group from church to go minister in Honduras for a week. So far, everything has gone really well. They have been going to the bilingual school every day in the morning and then to an orphanage in the afternoon. I can't wait to see the video!
The group singing at the bilingual school

Kylie and I stayed home this time as she is in the toddler phase full swing-into everything, the pickiest eater ever and does not like to be confined and lets you know, quite loudly. I've enjoyed having the one on one time with her at home though; I'd forgotten what it was like to have one child! Definitely much quieter around here. :)
