She is 8 months old now! I can hardly believe it. Her first tooth popped through two days ago, which explains why she's been a little cranky lately. She pulls herself up everywhere and hasn't figured out how to sit down yet, so hopefully she'll catch on in the next few weeks. Here is her first experience with the piano:

sunny skies...finally!

The rain is finally gone!! No more cabin fever...tropical storm Faye has been here for what seems like forever and is gone today. Yeah!!

(Yes, my kids are Brady Bunch fans!)

simple pleasures

Today, Donathan took all 3 kids away for a couple of hours and I had the house to myself. I can't remember the last time I was here all alone. Aaaaahhhh. Seems like such a small thing, but I sure enjoyed it. I still had to do housework, but was uninterrupted by "Mommy, I'm hungry", "Mommy, he won't share with me", "Mommy, I want someone to play with me", "I don't want to", etc... and of course, the ever present calls of an infant who wants to be held. Don't get me wrong, I love my kids, but it's so nice to have a break now and then. Maybe I can regain some sense of sanity, if there's any left.

church work day

Today was the first official church work day on the new facility. My only contribution was baking cookies seeing as I had a baby strapped on my back and another extremely whiny daughter who needed a nap, but Brendan stayed with Daddy the whole day and helped (with some play time, of course:)

9 years!

I can hardly believe that today it's been nine years since we were married! I'm so very grateful for my husband and all the memories we share together. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for us in the coming years. I love you, Donathan!
