simple pleasures

Today, Donathan took all 3 kids away for a couple of hours and I had the house to myself. I can't remember the last time I was here all alone. Aaaaahhhh. Seems like such a small thing, but I sure enjoyed it. I still had to do housework, but was uninterrupted by "Mommy, I'm hungry", "Mommy, he won't share with me", "Mommy, I want someone to play with me", "I don't want to", etc... and of course, the ever present calls of an infant who wants to be held. Don't get me wrong, I love my kids, but it's so nice to have a break now and then. Maybe I can regain some sense of sanity, if there's any left.

Sanity is just a state of mind. Hard to find and even harder to maintain :-)

Sanity? What is this "sanity" you speak of? I'm not familiar with this term. ;)

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it...(read that somewhere and can't remember who said it... hope it wasn't someone really really awful!) lol

I'm not exactly sure what it is either, but I think it is somehow related to peace and quiet-two other unfamiliar terms.
